Updating to the Latest Version - General Questions

I haven't updated UT Camera for a while (several years), and it's time to do it. Questions abound, and I do not see relevant documentation for updating the installation on a commerical platform. Do I run the quickstart first, or do I unpack all the files and replace them using the Filemanager on my site? There is lots of documentation, but I do this so rarely, I don't really know where to start. There must be a simple document that shows how to update an generic Unitemplates template.

Hello.
The steps to update any Joomla site are simple:
For free extensions, go to System >> Update Extensions, select each free extension one by one, and press the Update button. If you don't know which ones to use, try them all. If an extension doesn't update or displays a message, it's not free.

For commercial extensions, such as the template and SP Page Builder, download them to your computer. Then, in your Joomla installation, go to System >> Install >> Extensions and proceed to install the extensions. This is called updating using the Joomla installer.

Remember that before updating, you should make a backup. For Joomla, the best option is to use Akeeba Backup.

Also, if you use custom colors (chosen by you from Helix >> Presets) in your template, go to the template style you're using, select Advanced >> SCSS >> from Helix, and enable Compile SCSS to CSS. This will generate new CSS files with your colors. Disable this option when finished.
