Hi, it's not necessary to migrate to Joomla 6 immediately. Joomla 5 is supported until October 12, 2027 (it has two more years of support). However, we will work on compatibility as soon as possible, and for this purpose, we are working on Virtuemart 5.

Can you tell me what's displayed on the screen that's preventing the update? Have you tried activating the backward compatibility plugin?

Good morning, I think it's Virtuemart because the upgrade from Joomla 5.3.3 to 5.4 also gives me problems. Is there a specific plugin that needs to be deactivated? Besides backwards compatibility? As soon as I try to backup again, I'll send you screenshots.

Good morning, I came to the conclusion that the problem that also occurred with Joomla 5.4 was the site language, as soon as I set the default Italian language... this error appeared, what can I do to solve it?

Yes, the problem you're having is with the Italian language, but it's not the language itself. The issue is that you haven't installed the Italian language pack for Virtuemart. Installing the Italian language pack for Virtuemart will create the missing table.

There are two solutions:
1. If you're using Virtuemart: Install the Italian language pack for Virtuemart. Since your site's language is Italian, select Italian as the default in the Virtuemart settings. You might also need to edit your product listings so that the description, name, and short description are saved in the Italian language table. Although Virtuemart will use the English names, it's a good idea to edit them.

2. If you don't use Virtuemart: In this case, uninstall Virtuemart. To do this, go to System >> Manage >> Extensions, find the Virtuemart package, and uninstall it. This will remove most Virtuemart plugins. Then, continue searching for Virtuemart or VM and uninstall everything related to it. To be sure, access your database using phpMyAdmin and check if the Virtuemart tables still exist. If they do, delete them.

Remember to make a backup before each action!

You may have forgotten to uninstall a plugin or module that requires the Virtuemart config file. Can you tell us which page is experiencing this error? Is it happening across the entire frontend or just on a specific page?

The template doesn't include Virtuemart, only the demo version. We can clean it up for you. We understand you're working locally.
