It's not that the tags aren't working, they are working correctly, the problem is the generated class, the text "Kitchens & Bathrooms" generates the class .Kitchens-&-Bathrooms and this class is not valid, it is used directly to filter elements, because this class indicates that it must have a parent "Kitchens" and a child element "Bathrooms", but in this case it is only one element that is why the filtering does not work, the recommendation would be to use individualize the tags to "Kitchens" and "Bathrooms" and tag your articles with the 2 tags in that way they will be displayed in both cases, or it would also be to change the name to "Kitchens and Bathrooms" because the problem is generated by the & symbol.

To disable articles rating go to: System >> Plugins, search Vote and Unpublish.

It's probably retrieving it as enabled from the menu item settings.
Try Editing the menu item and saving without making any changes, because the option to enable or disable Vote is only shown when the plugin is active, and you say it's disabled, if so that option will not be saved in the database.

If it doesn't work, please reply so we can do a more in-depth review.

Sure you do have a menu item, as I see the menu item is Potfolio, edit that menu item, but first disable the Vote plugin in the plugin manager, and disable Social Share Links in all template styles you are using Helix >> Blog >> Details
