404 error blocks sitemap

My website will not allow me to navitage to the sitemap.xml when I type the path in the url , it says 404, i.e.
hotel39jamaica.com/sitemap.xml
I can bring up robot.txt . hotel39jamaica.com/robot.txt
I renamed sitemap.xml to sitemap.txt but it will not read it either hotel39jamaica.com/sitemap.txtI am wondering if somewhere template settings is blocking these files.

The template does not block anything, and from our side we can access sitemap.txt and sitemap.xml, can you confirm that you can now access it?
