Hello Support Team,I just purchased the Camera Joomla Template via TemplateMonster. After downloading the package, I received an archive that included a Quickstart Package. However, since I wanted to extend an existing Joomla website rather than overwrite it, I did not use the Quickstart installer and I installed the template, modules, plugins, and extensions manually, following the standard Joomla procedure instead. To my surprise, after completing the installation error free, there are no pre-built themes, demo layouts, menus, or sample content available — despite these being advertised as part of the template. I was expecting to find predefined menus, module positions, and demo configurations that I could adapt to my existing site, i.e. just add my own content per the Camera documentation.Could you please clarify:
  • Whether the demo content (menus, layouts, module assignments, etc.) is available separately from the Quickstart Package
  • Or if there is documentation or a recommended process for importing or recreating the demo structure into an existing Joomla installation

Note that I am posting this under Free Themes only because the “New Post” menu on your website does not allow me to post under the Premium themes section.I would appreciate your guidance on how to properly access or import the advertised demo content.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello.
The demo and the configurations for menus, pages, articles, modules, template styles, and other elements are part of the Quickstart, because all that data is stored in the database. This is how all Joomla template developers work, so simply installing the extensions won't recreate the demo that the Quickstart contains. Therefore, the only way to import the Quickstart data is to install the Quickstart separately, then export and import the template style you want to use, export and import the SP Page Builder pages you want to use, view the module and menu configurations, and recreate them on your existing site. To begin, you should analyze where most of the data you want to use is located. If it's in our demo, then install the Quickstart and import the data from your existing site into it. If most of the data you want to use is on your existing site, then you'll need to manually import only what you want to use from our demo (which I already explained at the beginning).
Regards.
